About the series
Wren Darlington is a Mod, one of the people with psychic abilities whom the state hunts down. She hides what she can do and secretly helps a rebel group. When she is forced into Silver Block, the military’s elite programme, she means to use it to undermine the enemy from within.
The trouble is that her commander, Cross Redden, keeps a close eye on her, and keeping up the mask gets harder and harder.
The book blends dystopia, military training and romance.

My thoughts
I listened to it, and I really like a main character who leads a double life. The tension lies in constantly waiting for someone to see through her.
