About Mads

My name is Mads Holst Jensen, and I'm the one writing The Raven's Heir.

I was born in 1994 and grew up in Sønder Bjert, near Kolding, Denmark. These days I live on the island of Funen.

By day I'm a web developer, running my own company, Mahope.

I've been a Scout leader for many years, and I love the outdoors. Preferably on a long hike, or on my way into cold water.

The book

I started writing this story in year 4 or 5 at school, and I've kept coming back to it over the years.

At some point I realised I'd never finish it alone. That's why I now use AI as a helper. I decide everything, read everything, write the comments and make the edits.
