About the book
Ivy Pomeroy is an assassin who can create illusions. She is bound to King Baylor of the Seventh Isle by an enchanted necklace that she cannot take off. When Thorne, a Reaper from the Isle of Death, turns up searching for the sword Almanova, the two of them are forced into an uneasy alliance.
The book is set in an archipelago where every island has its own magic, and where no one is quite who they claim to be.
In Danish it is published as Heir of Illusion: Skyggens hævn.

It is the first book in a planned trilogy. Books 2 and 3 do not have titles yet.
My thoughts
I listened to it as an audiobook. Because the main character is an assassin who works with illusions, you never quite know what is real. That suits a story about lies and alliances.
