Cajis Caritas
Retia's thirteen-year-old little sister. She is always reading, and she tells it like it is.
- Who
- Retia's little sister, 13
"Maybe that's better. Then you can't miss him."
Cajis is Retia’s little sister. She is about thirteen, with fair hair and the same blue eyes as her sister, and she almost always has a book in her hand. According to Retia, she would rather talk to the neighbour’s cat out in the garden than to most people, and she never goes off anywhere on her own.
Honest
When Chris has dinner with the family, he tells Cajis that he has never met his father. Her answer is so honest that it hits him hard, and afterwards he thinks she is wiser than any thirteen-year-old has a right to be.
As for her own father, she says he is almost never home, but that he is kind when he is.
Relationships
- Retia Caritas: older sister
- Arvia Caritas: mother
Spoiler (revealed in chapter 14)
